CHERRY WARRANTY RMA FORM


Cherry Corporation will cover keyboards under manufacturers warranty as per the following:

  • Valid proof-of-purchase - One year from the date of purchase.
  • Date code shows the status of warranty to be valid - Call for verification.
  • Product is deemed to be non-abused and not caused by the customer.
  • Customer will ship or drop-off the keyboard to the depot. The keyboard will be returned shipping prepaid.

     

    Voided warranties:
    If it is determined there is abuse by the customer to the keyboard, the warranty is void and any repairs are billable to the customer. Examples of abuse are: bent or missing cable pins, cut / crimped / torn cable casing, missing keycaps, internal liquid damage of any kind, unauthorized customer modifications, no problem found (NTF). Also, it is very important to note that if the keyboard has not been programmed properly, a diagnostic fee will be assessed. Typical examples of programming related issues are:

    • Number pad not working.
    • Credit card swipe not reading credit card numbers correctly.
    • All the lights blink.
    • Every other letter is functioning.
    • A specific row of keys (vertical or horizontal) are not functioning.
    • Dead

    NOTE:
    If it is determined that the keyboard is in need of a vaild-warranty repair please fill out the form below and an RMA# will be forwarded to you.
    A charge of $45.00 will be applied for all non-warranty repair issues.
