At Grand Tech Services, we are committed to protecting your privacy online. We use the latest security encryption software to protect the security of the information given to us from our customers. We do not sell or rent your transactional information with others. All information that is supplied to us will only be used to fulfill orders, contact our customers to inform them of order status, send occasional promotional information and enhance customer experience. Our site exceeds industry standards with fast loading pages, especially for those with high bandwidth connections.

Service and Support

 

Unlike many other online companies that reply with generic email responses, each and every email received by Grand Tech Services is reviewed by and answered by an actual person. In addition, we strive to answer every email within one business day. Sometimes this is not always possible but we do answer all emails as soon as is possible and in the shortest time possible. We have kind, caring customer service representatives that genuinely care about you and your order. We will try to do everything we can to satisfy you, as we want you to remain one of our loyal repeat customers. A list of email addresses is supplied for your convenience under the Contact Us area so that you can communicate with us and furnish us with feedback, whether positive or negative. Your input and comments are extremely important and allow us to provide the best possible service to our clients.

Billing & Payment

 

We accept Visa, MasterCard and Debit. There are no credit card surcharges. Please be sure to provide the exact name, billing address, and telephone number as they appear on the credit card statement. Incorrect information may cause a delay in the time processing the order. Orders that are shipped to an address other than the billing address listed with the credit card company require a temporary, alternate shipping note added to the account. Applying this note may also cause a short delay in processing time, but you will be notified of this. This note is required for first time purchases only and is used to verify that the cardholder is placing the order. This is for your security. Please note that we will only accept credit cards issued by a bank or other financial institution within Canada with verifiable references. All transactions are subject to verification for safety and security purposes. ***Please Note*** All main boards are 'Exchange' only. Additional charges to the customer will be incurred if the defective item is not returned within 5 days.

We also accept cashier's checks, money orders, personal checks, money wires, and approved purchase orders. Certified funds and personal checks must clear before a product ships. Please contact our Sales or Accounts Receivable Department for more payment information.

Shipping

 

After placing your order you will receive a confirmation email with details of the order you just placed. Also included in your confirmation email is important information regarding your order and guidelines pertaining to your order. Most orders we receive before 11am EST will generally ship the same day that we receive them. Some orders may require a little longer, depending on availability and location of warehouse used.

If you choose Next Day AM, Next Day or 2 day shipment terms, your order will be logged accordingly and will usually be fulfilled and shipped the same day if received by us before 11am EST, subject to availability, and to completion of any custom built product that you may order.

Orders are shipped via UPS, Purolator, or other freight forwarders.

International Shipping

 

Please call in for special shipping arrangements that we can make to certain countries, subject to approval of our company management and to domestic and international law.

 

Back Orders

 

Grand Tech Services does not usually accept back orders. If the product you ordered is unavailable, we will generally inform you via email that we cannot fulfill your order and we will not charge your credit card, or if availability ran out while in shipping process we will refund your credit card and inform you via email or via telephone.

Grand Tech Services Warranty

 

Grand Tech Services warrants all product purchased with full manufacturers warranty. All notebook batteries & adapters carry a full 1 year warranty. All other parts purchased carry a 90 day exchange warranty. Please contact the sales department and fill out the 90 day warranty RMA form. Also review the literature for each specific computer system for further details. Additional warranty time can be purchased, and you should contact our sales department for specific information if this an important issue for you.

All new boxed products carry the full manufacture warranty. Grand Tech Services warrants all new boxed products for the first 30 days from the date of purchase. Products that fail within the first 30 days are exchanged with a new replacement. Customer is responsible for return shipment of the defective product. Warranties for used, open box, and refurbished products vary. Contact our sales department for warranty information regarding these products.

Customer Data:
Customer hereby assumes all risk of loss of data from any and all causes or in any way related to or resulting from the sales, repair, or service by Grand Tech Services Inc. Customer hereby releases Grand Tech Services Inc. from any claim or liability related to any loss of data. Please be sure you take or have back up of your data before purchasing our services. We make our self very clear here that if you have important data in your computer make sure that you take proper backup of your data & purchase insurance before shipping/dropping off computer at our store for services.

Cancellation

 

An order may be cancelled within 2 hours after the order has been placed. Due to the fast processing time we provide, we can only guarantee your product will not ship if it has been

1. Cancelled via email within the 2 hour time limit from the time the order was placed

2. Your cancellation request was sent to us before 4pm Mon-Fri and within your 2-hour leeway period

3. Your order was placed after 5pm on Friday or on Saturday and Sunday. If we receive your cancellation by 9am on Monday morning we can still attempt to cancel your order.

Please Note! All times are Eastern Standard Time!

There are no charges for cancellations prior to shipping. The customer is held responsible for all shipping charges for orders cancelled after shipment by our company.

Returns

 

To return a product to us, you will need to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from the RMA/Tech Support department prior to returning any product(s)

Opened or tampered with software is non-returnable

There are three ways to obtain an RMA number from Grand Tech Services, on the web, by phone, or by email.

Obtaining an RMA number on the Web:

To obtain your RMA number on the web, first Log-In to your account on our website. You will find the "Login" link just under the "Home" button at the top left of our Home Page.

After logging-in click on the "My Account" button. Once you are at your "Account Profile" look under "Order Status" and click on "Return Items (Return Merchandise Authorization)". Now you can click on "New RMA" or "RMA History", click on "New RMA".

If you contact information is correct, then scroll down, if it is not correct, especially your email address and phone number, correct it before scrolling down. For each item being returned we need the following information:

SKU # or product code
Type of Return this represents, a Credit type or Defective type
Quantity of items being returned
Serial Number of item (if applicable, it's not required)
Order/Invoice Number
Reason for Return as best as you can describe … it is defective, it doesn't interoperate with my existing system, it is too big, it is the wrong color, etc, etc.

Then click the "Add SKU" button. Once you have done this for each and every item you wish to return, press the "Submit RMA" button just below your contact information.

Your RMA will then be recorded with a status of "Pending". You can check the status at any time by selecting "RMA History" from the "Return Items (Return Merchandise Authorization)" link under "Order Status" in your "Account Profile". You may then be contacted by someone in our RMA/Tech Support department to verify the facts of the RMA or the RMA will be accepted as written at the discretion of Grand Tech Services.

Obtaining an RMA number by Phone or Email:

In order to obtain an RMA number by phone or email, contact our RMA/Tech Support Department at 1-800-567-0586 or by email at info@grandtech.ca. They will ask you for the same information as in the web-based form and will enter that information into your account for you. You may then check the status of your RMA, just as above.

PLEASE NOTE: There are NO returns on parts orders - All Sales Are Final. On certain occasions, and only if authoriized by GTS staff, a return of a non-defective item can be processed. All authorized non-defective returns are subject to a 25%, $40.00 minimum, restocking fee, whichever is greater. Shipping costs are extra and the customer is responsible for all freight charges. In addition, note…all returns must be made within 30 days from the date of purchase. Returns after 30 days will not be accepted.

Again, A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from the RMA/Tech Support department prior to returning any product(s).

If your product is non-functional (DOA) or does not work as advertised, you can send it back to us and we will pay for the shipping of a replacement of the same item to you. You are responsible for sending the defective product back to us. Defective merchandise is exchanged for the exact replacement. The customer is responsible for the return of the defective product(s). If a refund is requested instead of the replacement option, we can refund you the cost of the item but not the shipping charges.

Some other items are non-returnable and returns of certain products need to be made through the manufacturer directly as dictated to us from the manufacturer directly. Our RMA/Tech Support department will advise you of the return instructions for your product once we have discussed your RMA information.

Due to the fast pace of the computer and consumer products industries, prices, specifications and availability of products change without prior notice. Due to the volatile nature of the computer industry, product descriptions may not reflect current technical information. Any typographical, photographic or specification error in product, pricing, or offers is subject to correction. We make every effort to provide you with the most accurate, up-to-the-minute information. Despite our best efforts, a small number of items on our web site may be mis-priced. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical, photographic, or technical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Grand Tech Services shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price.

If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will cancel your order and notify you of the price error and order cancellation. You will, of course, have an opportunity to purchase the item at the correct price, if you so wish.

While we make every attempt to verify prices before charging your credit card, Grand Tech Services shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed on mis-priced product whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Grand Tech Services shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Although Internet online processing generates an automatic confirmation and response via email, Grand Tech Services may make changes on pricing, product description, and/or specification, after the confirmation and prior to product shipment. Such changes are intended to cope with situations including, but not limited to, corrections to errors, changing market conditions, discontinuation and/or unavailability of products. Grand Tech Services reserves the right to limit and/or prohibit any sale in its sole discretion.
